Fictional Femme Fatales Who Kill with Style

In my novel, Julie Tudor Is Not A Psychopath, Julie was doing pretty well at killing and getting away with it, until the tide turned, and gave her cause to reflect on what went well, what could’ve have gone better and which other killer characters she could’ve taken advice from.
These five novels all feature murderers that Julie must surely admire.
Julie did sometimes struggle with the concealment of the crime, and disposing of the body is a known issue in thrillers all over the world. In another universe, maybe Julie and her own sister could have gone into a similar partnership, although the early signs for that were not auspicious. Regardless, Ayoola must be the envy of many murderers, not only Julie Tudor.
Differences emerge in how the suitors respond to their women. Rachel’s victims get as close to her as they can, not fully appreciating the danger until they’re hooked in, whereas Julie’s like to put a fair bit of distance between them, leading the two women to engage in completely different methods of murder. But however, deluded Julie may be in thinking she and Rachel are alike, the fact remains, Julie would find her inspiring.
A little like Dr Sheppard, Julie’s disguise was her respectability, along with the fact she tended to not be noticed. They both subscribed to the “hiding in plain sight” method of foiling the authorities, and it almost worked.
Just as authors have other authors they admire, I’m sure murderers often hold other murderers in great esteem, and these characters are certainly some of the best, although ultimately their results range wildly, from freedom, to death.

Julie Tudor is 49 and has it all: a fantastic job (well-maintained spreadsheets are the lynchpin of an efficient office), a beautiful house (some may wonder how she got the money for it, but nothing has been proved) and the man of her dreams.
Julie Tudor is not a stalker. Sean is 25 and the love of Julie’s life. The only problem is, he thinks he’s in love with someone else. And Julie Tudor is definitely, definitely not a serial killer. But Julie has found herself in a similar situation before. And if there’s one thing Julie knows, it’s how to get rid of the competition… After all, what’s a little murder in the name of true love?
